Things TO Note...

  • We offer vintage treasures that have lived full lives—and it shows, in the most beautiful ways. Signs of age and gentle wear are part of their story and charm. That said, we do our best to flag anything that feels beyond the expected patina of time.
  • Each listing includes detailed photographs that are part of the item’s description. Please take time to review them closely and reach out with any questions before purchasing. As a small business, we’re unable to refund delivery or return shipping costs.
  • Our pieces are selected with intention—chosen for their character, color, and composition. Unless explicitly noted, we cannot confirm the authenticity of any signature or date on the artwork.
  • We aim to photograph and present each item as true to life as possible, but please keep in mind that screen displays may vary. Colours can shift slightly from one device to another, and we can’t guarantee an exact match to what you see on your screen.
  • To keep things accessible, we gently dust all items before sending them to you. Unless specified, items are not professionally cleaned.
  • Frames are included as a complimentary part of the piece—either original to the work or thoughtfully matched. If a frame is included, it’s sold in “as is” condition and considered a bonus rather than part of the value of the piece.
  • Some works arrive with their original hanging hardware still attached. We don’t replace or update these fixings, so we recommend inspecting and replacing the hardware if needed—especially for older works.
  • Please ensure you’re happy with all the details—measurements, features, and delivery info—before making your purchase.
  • Your satisfaction means everything to us. If for any reason you'd like to return your item, please get in touch within 14 days of receiving it. Once returned in original condition, we’ll issue a full refund minus shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
  • Buyers are responsible for return shipping and making sure the item is securely packed—ideally in its original packaging—to avoid any damage in transit.
  • If your piece arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours and include clear photos of both the item and the packaging. We'll work with you to make it right.

Frequently Asked Questions

Original vintage art has a certain magic—characterful, cultural, and quietly sustainable. What’s not to love?  These pieces have lived lives before us—each one carrying subtle traces of its past. A handwritten note, a faded label, a repair made with care… these are stories etched in brushstrokes and time. Choosing vintage is more than a design decision—it’s a conscious one. It’s a way to honor craft, reduce waste, and give new life to existing beauty. We love that it's a thoughtful, sustainable way to collect. And while each piece is one of a kind, owning original art doesn’t have to come with a high price tag. We believe in making timeless work accessible—because good art should be lived with and loved.

All of the artwork we sell is pre-owned and unless otherwise stated, their condition is typical for their age. This can sometimes include slight changes in colour, yellowing to the varnish, and minor bumps and bruises. We have tried to include as many close-up photos as possible. Should you need more photos or wish to ask us more questions regarding an item’s condition, feel free contact us!

When we say ‘vintage’ we mean that they were painted some time ago and haven’t come directly from the artist. The paintings in our collection are generally those from the 1920s to the 1980s. Most are pre-owned, secondary market pieces.

Yes, all our paintings are original, unique pieces. Our prints are also original fine art prints, signed by the artist. We do not carry mass produced paintings or prints.

If you see a frame in the photos in the listing, it is included. If the piece is unframed, it will be clearly stated in the listing.

We are an online art consultancy and pop-up gallery based in Budapest; we don’t have a physical exhibition space. If there are particular pieces that you’d like to see, contact us and we can arrange a viewing.

Absolutely! We’re delighted to offer complimentary, personalized consultations. Whenever possible, we’ll visit you at home to get a feel for your space—considering natural light, wall dimensions, your existing art, and overall color story. We’ll even bring a curated selection of pieces from our collection so you can see how they look in situ. If an in-person visit isn’t an option, no problem—we’re happy to connect over a call to chat through your aesthetic preferences. From there, we’ll share tailored photos and mood boards to help you visualize the perfect fit.
